200 policemen engaged in security of ‘Panipat’ director, know what is the matter

Mumbai: ‘Panipat’ director Ashutosh Gowariker was receiving threats. Things had become such that 200 policemen were put under their protection. Whenever period films are made in Bollywood, one gets to see some ruckus. You will remember the ruckus that happened during Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Padmavat’. At the same time, there was also a threat of agitation against Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Tanaji’. Ashutosh also suspected something similar to happen and he immediately took police protection. Ashutosh himself has come and talked on this whole matter.

Actually, director Ashutosh Gowariker, who has made films like Lagaan, Jodha-Akbar, Mohan Jodaro, was getting threats from different organizations after the release of ‘Panipat’ trailer. These organizations accused the director of manipulating historical characters and events. At the same time, objections were also raised in some scenes of the film. According to a Times of India report, in view of the seriousness of the matter, 200 policemen have been deployed under the protection of Ashutosh Gowariker.

Speaking on the contract, Ashutosh said in the interview, “Whenever we make a film based on history, it is natural to question what part will be shown in the script of the film and who will be excluded. The history book contains many pages, but it is not possible to fit everyone into the film. It has to be made according to a timeframe. People doubt whether their family has received credit properly in the film.

He said that the contribution of many others like Mallar Rao Holkar, Janako Ji Shinde, Maharaj Ji Shinde, Balwant Rao Mahendre Alkaji Mankeshwar, Purandare has been given place in the film. Now we have cleared all doubts and all is well now ‘. Let us know that Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Kriti Sanon and Padmini Kolhapuri starrer film ‘Panipat’ is going to release on 5th December.
